If anything has a reputation for being unpredictable, it's the weather. Yet we try to predict it every day. Especially now: March comes in like a lion, and goes out like a lamb, claimed our ancestors. This volatility has led to the science of meteorology. To be fair, meteorology goes back to Aristotle (340 BC) with his book Meteorologica. From unpredictable to unimaginable: we can now predict the weather. However, we cannot predict whether you live in shorts in the winter or a jacket in the summer — that’s up to you.
